EFECE Systems are a new fracture fixation system for animals. It has the capability to fix and compress the fractured fragments with Kirschner wires (k-wires).

K-wires are the implants that we already use in vet-orthopedics trauma surgery. But they do not have the capacity to compress the fractured fragments like screws or plates. Screws and plates have the disadvantage of being thicker and having technical difficulties and natural limitation due to their natural mechanism of action. Then, I took the national patent of this EFECE device in 2010 with the number : TR 2010 05662 B. (Attach.1) And it is still valid in Türkiye.

In 2013, this new innovation represent Turkish Republic in “Geneve International Innovation Fair” and get “Silver Medal” (Attach. 2) ) and “ Best Invention” prize (Attach. 3) from Iran delegation. In “İstanbul Interantional Inventions Fair ‘16” EFECE Systems get “Gold Medal” prize from organization delegate, (Attach. 4) “Best National Invention” prize from Turkish Patent Institute (Attach. 5) and “Best Invention” prize from Croatia delegate. (Attach. 6)

In 2017, I have defined the next generation of EFECE Systems and manufactured its hand set. (Attach. 7) EFECE Systems’ application is impossible without a hand set and I applied for international patents for this hand-set and get EU and US patent of the wire stretcher in this hand-set. I get the European Patent in 12/09/18 with the number 3270802. (Attach. 8) It is still has the validity in England, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, Switzerland, Poland, Belgium and Holland. I get the US patent of this wire stretcher in 18 Feb 2020 with the number US 10,561,457 B2.(Attach. 9) It is also still valid in USA.

As a trade mark, the behavior of this EFECE Systems in cats and dogs is still going on. We are collecting data from living beings to report.
